不要说保持单身的男女没情趣，也不要说大学不谈恋爱没意思，有位名人曾说过：“大学不谈恋爱，后悔四年.. 大学谈恋爱，后悔一辈子..”

学生时代，周围接触最多的人都年龄相仿，所以价值观都差不多，都想着将来有个好工作，有个好恋人。

正因为理想差不多，所以俩个人在一起会很开心，也就很容易走到了一起。至于恋爱是否会影响学习，这里就不说了，因为既有促进作用，也有消极作用，因人而异。

但是，当毕业后，由于工作的需要，或考研的需要，两人必须长时间分开。即使分开前信誓旦旦，但以后见面的机会将会非常少。不要说你会坚守爱情，在事业的压力下你若分心就无法使自己更优秀。而在你事业低谷时，那个搀扶你一把的人，往往使你心存感激，你会发现原来这个人就是你生命中最重要的人。而你原来爱的那个人，对你由爱生恨，你反而失去一个很好的朋友。

所以，现在若有人想跟你交往，估计也是看中近期的利益 (两人在一块的感觉，没有那么多顾虑) 而没有把眼光放远于未来的人。毕竟谈恋爱就得多多少少花钱，而钱全是父母给的生活费，你都还不会赚钱，没有自己的事业，凭什么可以乱花钱呢？从某种意义上讲，是父母在帮你谈恋爱，一点都没有靠自己的力量去追求自己的所爱。

恋人不是随意寻找的，因为在没有完全了解对方之前，对方可以为了吸引你暂时改变自己，而一旦你完全了解对方后，分手就指日可待了。

所以恋爱应该是日久生情，彼此非常熟知后自然地走在一起，甚至无需表白。

不要认为对方人很好就轻易妥协，人好不是爱情的全部，你们必须为爱情的将来做打算。

如果遇到一个你深爱的女孩，而你感觉她也喜欢你，大部分的人都是直接就开始交往了..

这样做的后果可能就是前面所说的，最后失去一个深爱的人..

你或许应该以朋友的名义关心她，在毕业后仍保持联系，然后为了她努力工作。当你在事业上有所成就后再去找她，如果此时她仍在等你，说明你没看错人。女孩，如果一个男生他随意就喜欢上妳，那么他以后也会很快就喜欢上别人的。

爱情晚点来，就不会走得太早。我们并不需要靠失恋来成熟.. 不是吗？

在学校里的爱情是无知的..
在社会中的爱情可能是有目的的..
只有遇到逆境仍走下去的爱情才是永恒的..

爱情不是和一个最适合自己的人在一起，
而是遇到一个更适合自己的人时，
能够坚守自己对所爱的人作出的承诺。

网上的 “爱你，为你做这些事” 看起来很感人，因为大部分人都不是这种爱情。
爱情不是一种潮流，你要有自己的看法，
在你的理想恋人未出现时，你要有毅力选择一直单身，而不是找个替代品。
当你做到后，网上传的那些事，在你的爱情中是再基本不过的了。

男生，在谈恋爱时不要抱着不适合就分手的想法，一定要慎重地考虑清楚，
女朋友就是你未来的老婆，结婚只不过是多一张无用的纸而已，结婚并不是为爱情加了锁，真正的爱情从来就不需要任何的束缚。

一旦你选择了恋爱，就要有一种责任感，
你要为你父母的儿子、你老婆的丈夫、你未来孩子的爸爸负责！

单身并没有什么不好，你一样可以关心你喜欢的人，这样可以让大众觉得你是一个很好的朋友；而恋爱中的人，关心别人则会引发醋意，从爱情观说也是对爱情不够忠诚，但不关心别人则又失去很多友谊，一旦你分手了，就赔了夫人又折兵。所以现在单身，不是说你不向往爱情，而是证明你对未来的她的一份痴情。

一个优秀的人单身说明这人足够优秀，一个再优秀的人随意恋爱说明这人的优秀只是表面而已，真正希望对方好的，就是默默在背后关心对方。最好的承诺，不是爱你一万年，而是根本不需要承诺..

虽然分手是另一段爱情的重新开始，
但每次恋爱只有一次，一个人在恋爱中对爱情的向往是最多的..
而一旦失败，刻骨铭心…

Oh yeah, a brand new year and brand new me, so back to school is great for me! XD

How was your holidays? I had a great holidays with my fellas! =D

I take 5 courses this term, HOLY! Well, they are all challenging courses so I have to pay more attention to them, at least to get better grades in finals! If not, my papa and mummy will kill me! HAHA~ Seriously, I love school time, students only suffer for their homework and tests, that`s it, unlike those who already get into work cause what they faced were the truth of the society, the ugly side of people and so on! Sometimes, you will just feel exhausted or don`t even care to involve in those fights and actually you`re really smart, you choose the right way to let yourself live a better life!

Therefore, I wanna be smart always but fool sometimes, haha~ what a silly saying! XP

End of the year, snow everywhere in Winnipeg~

Exam is right in front of me and for sure I am doing revisions for all the courses. With my strange attitude that staying with others, I realized sometimes I am quite lonely at home. Sitting in front of my laptop, pps-ing, lay on the bed or look at the view outside my window. And of course I can stare at something for like few minutes, WASTE MY TIME! HAHA~ How do you spare your leisure time instaed of doing something like me?

Wow, one whole day, I didn`t meet my dearest! Where are you, my dear? Do you hear me or something? Or still playing your warcraft? OKAY, stop killing the blacky dragon, study man, your exam is on this coming Saturday! HAHA~ whatever, you`re kinda smart, so don`t need to worry too much!

The truth is, I REALLY MISS MY FAMILY, TIGER, AND FRIENDS! How`s it going, everyone? Time flies. I wanna go home, miss all the food and stuff in Malaysia. Besides, I dreamt about the way I drove last time, it was FUN man! HAHA~ but the flight ticket, gosh, CAD 1700+! It`s really killing me! Need sponsors please! XD

Okay, I am back! XD

To all my readers, I need to apologize cause I didn't update for like YEARS! I felt bad so I decided to come back! HAHA~ still, busy for school work and stuffs. Nothing special. But seriously, I feel so stressful, maybe I just need to go for a trip to relax myself, any suggestions for this coming Winter holidays? XD

Winnipeg, a place that I spent a year to study at. And yesterday, it was snowing~ NICE! Everytime I see snow, I feel excited and just wanna leave my work and play with snow or make a snowman, haha, well, it is impossible to make a snowman now cause I need more SNOW! Snow more please! XD

Oh yeah, just wanna let you guys know that I might go back to Malaysia during Summer! Excited right? Haha~ who is with me then? I need company! Well, I know my boy boy won't go back with me, haha, understandable. Let me know if you guys are going back at the same time, and we can go somewhere else instead of staying at home, haha~ Anyways, my main purpose is to take some courses in UCSI, then at least I don't waste my time on playing ONLY! XP

Biking is AWESOME

It was so relaxed to bike alone. Although I used to be bike with Alex, but he was not free tonight! GO DIE! XP

I was really out of my mind! I was quite tired actually but still, I went for a bike! HAHA~ Anyways, let's see where I went to. First, I started from my place, of course, from Pembina Woods to South Bound to Tatcher to Wadgewood to under the bridge along the Red River to Pembina Plaza then backed to the road beside the highway then went to my university and then Markham then u-turned to Tatcher then backed to Pembina Woods. W-T-H! I must say that it was just way TOO COOL! HAHA~ I never been this crazy before! I can't express the feeling like after you have done something made you excited! I'm sure I will have next time cause I LOVE BIKING! XD

The evening views were nice too! I was really enjoyed the whole journey. And Canadian people are really nice, cause sometimes they may block your way but they will just stand aside to let you go first and then smile with you! How lovely they are! =)

Waiting to be a Loser

I spent the whole weekend to struggle my homework, ended up with an exhausted Monday.

Sometime, I really wanna be the top student, be the first in my class. But I always ended up with the second or third place. Maybe you will say, "Don't action please" or "Lose or win is just a small case". However, I am quite care about the results of win and lose. A typical Leo's attitude is always like that, always wanna be the first and the most POWERFUL person in crowded! Anyway, I am trying to persuade myself that lose or win is really a small case. But the thing is, be a winner surely can make me feel satisfied and happy! I wanna be a winner of myself and future! XD

I'm always waiting nowadays. Waiting for the time to pass, waiting for the results to release, but the worst is to wait for someone I expect to see. I was sat on my bed and kept looking outside my window, haha, stupid huh? But seriously, I used to it already. Although sometime got nobody out there, but I still look outside and maybe I'm waiting for surprise. Like somebody said before, the more you expected, the more you get disappointed. I can be the winner of everything, but I'm always the loser of love!

Another rainy day. Cold out there but warm inside.

Today is Victoria's Day. It means I don't have classes for today. When I do not have class, I eat and sleep and fool around, what a boring day! Anyway, I still have one more report which is due on this Friday, at least I have something to fill my free time.

Yesterday was a long day. Spent the most hours with you. Happy huh? Thanks for belanja me makan. I was really enjoyed when we had the dinner together. "Are we there yet?", I asked like N times, I know it was quite annoying but fun to ask! HAHA~ Finally, we were there. A wharf that filled with some twinkle and weak light, NICE! We sat somewhere at the end of the wharf, with those people who were fishing and some ducklings that tried to hunt their food from the river. I didn't know Winnipeg has such a nice place! Once again, thanks and it was really an awesome night! Although we never took any photos but the memories we shared are good enough for us! RIGHT? XD

Congratulation! Finally, I got my 100th post!

As usual, I am busy for my study. The thing is, this time I am quite responsible to my study. For examples, I never late or skip classes, I will not wait until the last minute to do my assignments, impressive huh? And one more thing is I'm so active in the class, like become a volunteer and participated all the discussions, LOVE IT! Anyway, school life is never boring. I am going to appreciate it and not to regret after that!

Yesterday was Val's birthday. HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY, VAL! May your dreams come true and always be happy! I remembered that time we came to Winnipeg together, stayed together and had some misunderstandings, hehe, I apologize. But now, we are like sisters! Although that was a short chatting in washroom, haha, but it was joyful! Let's have more chatting next time!

This whole week was a hard time and luckily I am still survive! Assignments and homeworks are like uncountable, but this is just the beginning, anyways, I love my life! School life is always interesting, I just can't imagine if I started to work after graduation. I know from that time, I will miss my school life very, very much!

These few days are really special to me. So many surprises came at once. I do not know how to describe it but everything just too good for me. God treated me well. Thanks for the one who trust me, you always made my day! I apologize that last time I did bad things to you, but like you said, no pain no gain, now you get something you really want! Congrats ya! Haha.

And my eldest sister, finally, step into engagement! Congratulation! I promise you that I will go back to Malaysia when you get married! OMG~ CAN'T WAIT! Can I go back now? HAHA!

Back to school. Everything is the same just the weather is kinda odd. Professors are nice. One with his UK's slang and the other one is with his Arabian's slang. There's so much fun during the classes. Summary of the beginning of summer term - DONE!

Like I said, "impossible" is the word I gave you. I know you were here and saw the "special" post I wrote to you. I did it in purpose. Yes, I am kinda annoying but I wanna make things clear. You have the right to do those things to me. But you know what, from the moment I got my final decision, you got no more chances already, NO MORE = ZERO CHANCES = CANNOT BE COUPLE! The truth is, I do not want to lose a good friend like you. I'm really appreciate our friendship. This is more important than everything! Time Flies

Classes started next week. One week of holiday almost gone.

This month is really special to me. I learned a lot of new stuffs, especially when I, myself involved in relationship. Kinda funny huh? Carene, finally, there's someone wanna chase her but FAILED! HAHA. Actually the guy is quite good, just not the right timing yet, perhaps he is not the type of guy I want! Anyway, I won't regret what I did. At the same time, I am so happy, haha, odd right? Whatever, I know how to handle this kind of problem, if it happened again, hopefully it won't. So, the conclusion for this month is, when met a good guy at the wrong timing, still, not a happy ending! HAHA~

Back to my result. I must say that Computer Science is the most "waste-of-time" course ever and I PASSED IT! HAHA, no more programming, no more loop here loop there! Next course that I need to suffer is Statics. Hopefully I can do well in this course! GAMBATEH! =)

WOOHOO! Finals is over, it is time for summer holidays!

I had a Sushi Party at Sum Yin's house yesterday night. It was really good especially when I got punishment TWICE by eating wasabi! Actually I learned a skill while eating wasabi without tearing! It is easy. Just swallow everything at once! Cool huh? Anyways, it was quite fun! HAHA~

The best thing is I just bought my bike, named AWESOME which costs me only 60 bucks! Those auctioneers were really professional. They can sell a bike within 30 seconds! So, you must make a very good and smart decision while your favourite shown up. I would say this was a brand new experience to me. I love it! HAHA~

Silent Night

I've done my second exam today. It was good I think. Hopefully it can be the first A+ ever in my result! The last exam will be held on this Friday. It is a tough subject anyway and it means I need to work very very hard on these few days.

During these few days, something changed my mind. It happened unexpectedly. Before I met it, I will never ever think of the day I had it. It confused me, too. I do not know whether I need it or not. Perhaps I am just too bored till nothing to do then I need something new in my life. Anyone wants to save me? I'm drowning with those curiosity. Is it a good thing or bad thing? I smiled. I will let it be, naturally. Time will tell me the answer.

15th April, 9am - COMP 1010, Introductory Computer Science
21st April, 9am - ENG 1450, Introduction to Electrical and Computer Engineering
23rd April, 6pm - ENG 1460, Introduction to Thermal Sciences

What to do now? Of course it is the time for preparation. I must score this time! FIGHTING!

I'm thinking.

Thinking about how to score in finals. Thinking about how to plan the coming holidays. Thinking about how to clean my room cause it looks kinda messy. Thinking about my family and friends that I never met for a long time. Thinking what to buy the next. The most idiot thing that I need to think about is how to reject a "kid" who is damn sensitive and childish, not only these, he sometimes can't even understand those simple English and ended up I became the translator, it seriously wastes my time.

Anyways, "just think" is useless. I need actions. I must study hard to score in finals. Holidays will leave it after I done my finals. I just need half an hour to clean my room. I always miss my family and friends so I will skype or msn with them whenever I want. The next thing I wanna buy is bicycle, haha. The most stupid solution ever to stop this kind of "relationship" is to avoid everything he gave and he did to me. Great huh? Actually I am a great planner too. Haha.

Another meaningless update.

What I've been doing nowadays? Study when I am free. Do some sports when I get bored. Search for a bike, just in case. Chase by somebody, I can feel. Sleep as earlier as I can, to get a healthy life. etc. It seems like I have a peaceful life. Although it is kinda bored but I like it, still. No more clubbing, less party-ing, no more sleep after 3 or 4 or 5 in the morning, IT IS GREAT! XD

Final exam is in 2 weeks time. I'm on the way of doing preparation. Hopefully I can get what I expected! GAMBATEH!

I finally found a way to release my stress, which is to go for gym!

Actually I was not really went for gym but badminton, basketball and tracking! HAHA, it is always my most joyful time to hang out with friends. From learning to challenging to chatting, full of happiness! I really enjoyed the time with them, especially when I'm playing my most favourite game - badminton! You can hit the shuttlecock as hard as you want or as soft as you can. "You're bad girl!", said Alex. Cause I always played tricks, with those fake actions, HAHA.

I love my life again. Sports really can make me forget something which is unhappy. Besides, I can keep fit too, HAHA. And now I'm always ready, ready to go for GYM! XD

"School is mean!", said Julia. We hugged each other tightly after that.

Sometimes, you think you did well in the exam but ended up with an unexpected result. This is freaking asshole. I hate it. I spend my days and nights just to do the revisions but still can't get a better result. "Why?", I asked myself again. I never cry this time. I just feel upset and exhausted. I do not want this happened to me! This is unfair! Anyway, this is not the end of the world so I MUST keep going on and not giving up. I trust myself. Put more efforts is the one and the only way. I hope there's no more screwing up in any tests or exams. Sigh.

When I was in the thermo class yesterday, my classmate brought her son to the classroom too. The child sat in front of me. He is cute though. As usual, my prof started his lecture. As usual, I never concentrate in his class, haha. As usual, my prof asked question and as usual, no one gonna answer him caused most of us almost fell asleep at the same time! Suddenly, there was a voice from the front row with the correct answer. I think you guys know who is that already, yeap, is the kid.

I was awake after I heard his answer. I'm not surprised of his answer but his spirit. If my prof suddenly asked me the question, I'm sure I do not know how to answer caused I didn't pay attention to his class, haha. Anyway, I'm thinking, thinking about where is the spirit that I had before. Even a kid can did that, why not me? Time to wake up, Carene. It is the time to know where you are and what you are doing right now. Do not waste your money and time at some stupid stuffs. There's something you have to achieve! GAMBATEH, CHEER FOR MY LIFE! =)

Potluck at Sum Yin's house last Saturday. It was AWESOME! I hope there's more gathering like this because I'm bored, always!

Everything goes wrong these few days. I really hate myself when I'm not doing the right things. Just feel like screaming all the time! I'm lost. I scare to be alone and I wanna find someone to talk with. But who can I talk with? Today is the last day of Winter Olympic Games 2010. Canada, country that won the most GOLD medals in this game. I love their spirit, I do not know how to describe but there's one and the only word which can describe everything, it is AWESOME! Two tests are coming up this week. One down and one more to go.

Sometimes I will just sleep on the sofa which is in the engineering's lounge. I'm not the only one who did that. Yesterday was CNY eve. Had an awesome dinner and night in Ainsley's uncle's house. Of course we had a good chat too~ LOVELY! =)

And today is the first day of CNY in Winnipeg. I slept till 12pm, great huh? I remembered that time when I was in Malaysia, every single family member have to wake up VERY early in the morning and dressed up and prepared to go to my grandma's house to pay a visit and GET ANG PAU! Although the weather during CNY period was so damn WARM, but we do appreciated the time of visiting people and gambling! HAHA~ Poker, mahjong, they were EVERYWHERE! XD

I'm having a different kind of CNY this year. A quiet CNY with no ang pau, no fireworks. It is totally different from what I had last time. I miss the time when all the relatives gathered and showing off about EVERYTHING they had! HAHA~ it was a bit annoying though, for sometimes! I'm wondering how's Tiger. He scared of the sound of fireworks. *Bing Bang BOOM* and he will just hide under my dad's car. I hope he is okay now! =)

I'm having spring break aka reading week now. I'll play first then only study for my tests which held after spring break! HAHA~ I must get into the Faculty of Engineering, this is the only resolution I must achieve this year! GAMBATEH CARENE~ no more screw up tests or quizzes! =)

Today the class ended at 7:30pm. When I got back home was around 8:30pm and cooked until 9pm~ What a great Friday night!

BAD news first~
1) I have to work for tomorrow! MEANS, I can't sleep until noon~
2) Lack of clothes in my closet! MEANS, I have to do laundry very soon.
3) I haven't receive my SIN card yet! MEANS, I have to visit the head-office again which is in downtown.
4) My hands are like Ah-Ma only! MEANS, my hands are super dry now, lotion also can't help much!
5) My face is damn round now! MEANS, time for me to do some exercise.
6) Thermo Midterm Test is next week before Spring break! MEANS, I need to stay back in school until midnight~

Eating potato chips with BBQ flavoured. I love my life! HAHA~

I worked on this weekend. The dishwasher is broken down, sigh~ means we all have to wash everything by hands! Since I'm the junior, I help everyone to wash. HAHA~ Actually I finished packing the food, so I got nothing to do! Anyway, I enjoyed while I was washing all the dishes! And I think I never wash such amount of dishes before in my life, I love my job! XD

Last week was busy for assignments and finding room. Assignment of COMP1010 was just stupid. I don't even know what was I writing. It sucks with those JAVA codes! But luckily Tian Yu guided me when I was doing it, many thanks to Tian Yu! I think I'll hand in with a blank file without you! XP

And YES, I'M GOING TO MOVE OUT SOON AGAIN! OMG~ I'm just too crazy for this! Since I'm not happy with the current housemates and landlords, so there's no reason for me to stay for longer time. But deposit is still with landlords and I wanna get it BACK! So, I have to stay for another month then only can move out and get back my deposit. Anyway, next month is a month for me to hunt for furniture, like bed, desk, etc. Although I don't know the next housemates very well, but when I signed the contract, I took about 1 hour to sign! Caused we were chit-chatting at the same time! Nice people to chat with, I LIKE! XD

Spring break is coming soon this February. Jia Bing and Alvin, please stand-by cause I need you guys to help me to move some of my stuff to my NEW ROOM, NEW HOUSE! OMG~ I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO MOVE IN! CAN I MOVE IN NOW? XD

When I woke up, I saw the wind with snow blew vertically from left to right and right to left again and horizontally from bottom to the sky. Next, I received a text from Tian Yu, she asked me not to go to school caused it was dangerous! Therefore, I skipped class today! Such a bad condition, better stay at home and sleep! HAHA~ luckily there's nothing special for the class today.

Adrian forced me to install and register for Skype yesterday. Okay~ I have to admit that it is better than MSN! HAHA~ I'm so used to be a MSN user, suddenly changed to Skype, quite noob seriously. Anyway, I'm still in the learning process. I'll master MSN and Skype one day! XD

There are so many stuff happened last week. I was not happy and decided to move out one day, leave the "house" is the only solution, I think. And I realized I miss Tiger so badly again. I wonder how is he now? According to my mum, Tiger is the KING of the area. So proud of him! HAHA~ but other dogs are a bit unlucky. Anyway, Tiger, please stop fighting with others, I don't wanna hear from mum that you are injured again!

Today, the whole world was upside-down.

I took a quiz today. It was super easy. Supposingly, I can score full mark, there's no reason for me to screw up. BUT I SCREW UP! OMG~ What was I thinking? Why I can changed the answer easily? There's nothing wrong in my working right? But the answer I choose was ALL WRONG! DAMN~ More than hundred time I'd asked myself, why? why? WHY? W-H-Y? Blame myself so hard, why can't I just do the right thing at that time? Lack of confidence is still my biggest weakness. The more I expect, the more I will get disappointed. Just wanna do things right, just wanna prove to myself actually I can do it. Is there anything wrong? Or I'm just too stressful? Tired of mistakes, tired of being myself, sometimes.

But I know this is still not the end, obstacles will pop-out from nowhere again and still, life goes on. I allow myself to feel sad for ONLY today, I'm gonna prepare for tomorrow, CHEER! =)

HAHA~ The most common thing we have is we do things boyishly and we're really ROCK! Gonna keep up the spirit caused I love to make friends like her, not those fake people! XD

University reopens. Weather remains at -10 to -40 degree Celsius. I love Winnipeg aka Winter-peg!

I was very busy this week. Courses that I'm taking this term are Computer Science, Thermal Sciences and Electrical and Computer Engineering. And yes, Winter 2010 is a very important term for me because it is to decide whether I qualified to the Faculty of Engineering. It is a MUST to get in Engineering and the only way is to work harder! I know I can do it, I trust myself! =)

I really hate people who are not punctual at all. Not only once, it was like N times, uncountable! I just feel like slapping them when they came to me with the innocent smile and apologize and came out some unacceptable reasons. HELLO~ Are you celebrity? DAMN! There is no reason for the whole world to wait for you! Gosh, I just can't understand why they love to not come on time! And there's a reason why I love to do thing alone sometimes. At least I do not need to wait for them. To conclude, waiting is the hardest part of my life! SIGH~

A Year to Remember

2009 means a lot to me. There are so many things happened within this year, from family and friends to school and my future...

January - May

During this period, we were busy finding the BEST university for ourselves. That time I was thinking ISU is my future university. But who knows? By looking at my disappointed CGPA, I was worried and upset of why I didn't do well in previous semesters. Seriously, I've no idea how I survived. And of course I feel regret caused I never really hang out with friends more or I can say, maybe less than 10 times we went for lunch, HOW SAD~ Stupid me, really stupid! Anyway, life goes on.

June - August

Reopen my blog, started write nonsense before I forget! Yeap, I decided to further my study in Canada during this period. Everyday was a rush. Went to CEC (Canadian Education Center) for like N times, settled my transcript and VISA thingy. It was not a great time seriously. But at the same time, I love this time the MOST!

August is a month I'll never forget! Aussie trip, early birthday celebration, mini farewell at Look Out Point, etc. Whenever I think of it, I smiled. All the things you guys did for me, they're just lovely, unforgettable, AWESOME! Hopefully we'll have those fun time together one day or someday. I pray for it.

It was a very, very important period for me. My life started to change when I left my family and friends. September 5th, we gathered at KLIA. The last talk, last hang out, last hugs, last laugh with all of you. It was time to send me off and I made it through without tears! Amazing HUH? HA-HA! Maybe I was just too excited and I can't even cry but I smiled, I laughed. But the truth is, without the company of friends of mine, I don't think I can go through such improtant process. Once again, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I had so many first time in Winnipeg. First time sat in a plane until I can't feel my butt more than 20 hours; First time stay alone and cook for myself; First time clubbing and celebrated white christmas; First time believe that love comes and goes easily; First time knowing that the most ugly side of people; And first time I realized I miss everyone so much whenever I'm alone.

Drinking chocolate milk, thinking what to write, and I noticed I'm just too free during my holiday period~

First of all, I just got a part-time job and it will begin next year when my university reopens! I'm so glad seriously, finally, there is something to kill my FREE time! Since I'm going to work in the Food Research Center, my job is quite simple, it is all about pack the food, weigh the food and wash some containers. $10.50 per hour, who doesn't want to work there? XD And the interview was funny I think, the manager talked more than me, so I just sat there, introduced myself and he started to talk about how the kitchen works! Anyway, the most important one is to hire me~ muahahahahahaha...

And I decided to go to the dinner party at George's house on Christmas eve. OMG~ I can't wait to see Rusty again. First Christmas celebration in Winnipeg, how great! I'm really excited and happy! XD Sorry for not going to the potluck, but I'm sure I will attend the next event, SKI TRIP, HERE I COME!!! HAHAHA~

As you know from the title, yeap, ME, CARENE CHAN CHER YENG is HAVING HOLIDAY NOW! And I do not have any plan for this holiday~ HOHOHO...

Meiling and I went to Polo Park yesterday for a random shopping. Polo Park, the largest shopping center in Winnipeg, a bit disappointed me caused it is like BBK Jusco, nothing special. After shopping, we had our dinner and waited for the bus. We realized that our BM is getting worse and were trying to LEARN~ I was quite curious how I wrote karangan last time in High School, I can crapped about 6 to 7 pages of nonsense and now I can't even write a paragraph, what a sad case. Anyway, we tried...

"Pada hari ini, saya pergi ke Polo Park dengan Meiling. Saya bangun pada pukul 10 pagi *with the song* bangun pagi gosok gigi cuci muka....." and we laughed~ HAHAHA...

December is always the beginning of winter. The temperature keeps going down till you can't really feel your hands and nose or even your face! So people, please keep warm ya! I don't want to see you guys get sick! =)

1) My small little heater~ I think is a he and with his label "Honeywall"!!! XD 2) The HOLE!!! Okay, this is a bit sad and I don't like him because he never keep the room warm, landlord's fault~

Last Friday was a great night caused we went to Patrick's house for a visit. Actually our main purpose was to visit his dog, Rusty! Rusty is a very patient and nice dog. Although he is a little bit of shy when he saw us but he is cute still! According to Patrick's dad, George, he always goes to hospital and makes the patients happy, how great! I hope my Tiger can do that but he will first bark at people! XD

We had a dinner with his family. Before that, Tian Yu, Patrick and George were playing pool. As an audience, I can say that George is a great player! And his wife, Linda and him are great travellers too caused they always go for a vacation at different country, I wish I can do that someday in future! He said they are going to Malaysia in next year January, I hope they'll enjoy their trip caused there is a bit WARM compared to Winnipeg! XD

I really enjoyed chatting with them. They're friendly and kind people and they gave us a very warm night too! =)

Beyond The Realm of Conscience - Empress Dowager Kwok by Susan TseYiu Kam-ling by Tavia Yeung & Man Po-yin by Selena Li

I have finally done with Beyond the Realm of Conscience. The ending was expected already so there's nothing special and it was kinda bored too. The first few episodes were nice and this is because of the Empress Dowager Kwok (by Susan Tse), her acting skill is the best among all the artiste! HAHA~ just she died too fast in the series, if not, the whole series will be perfect! XD For people who like to watch those fighting in the palace, this series is not a bad suggestion but this is not the best series still.

A Chip Off The Old Block - Chor Fan by Sunny Chan & So Fung Nei by Myolie Wu

The next series they show up is A Chip Off the Old Block. I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH! Not because I like Myolie but the series is so damn funny! HAHA~ I just can't help myself to stop laughing when I'm watching it. For people who like those funny dramas and want to have a good laugh, I personally suggest you guys to watch this series! XD

As it turns out, snow can makes a person feels happy when watching it quietly without any company...

This dog was born on Christmas Eve in the year 2002. He was born in 3 legs - 2 healthy hind legs and 1 abnormal front leg which need to be amputated. He of course could not walk when he was born. Even his mother did not want him.

His first owner also did not think that he could survive, therefore he was thinking of "putting him to sleep". By this time, his present owner, Jude Stringfellew, met him and wanted to take care of him. She is determined to teach and train this dog to walk by himself. Therefore she named him "Faith".

. In the beginning, she put Faith on a surfing board to let him feel the movements. Later she used peanut butter on a spoon as a lure and reward for him to stand up and jump around. Even the other dogs also encourage him to walk. Amazingly, only after 6 months, like a miracle, Faith learned to balance on his 2 hind legs and jumped to move forward. After further training in the snow, he now can walk like a human being.

. Faith loves to walk around now. No matter where he goes, he just attracts all the people around him. He is now becoming famous on the international scene. He has appeared on various newspapers and TV shows. There is even one book entitled "With a Little Faith" being published about him. He was even considered to appear in one of Harry Potter movies.

Jude Stringfellew has given up her teaching post and plans to take him around the world to preach that "even without a perfect body, one can have a perfect soul".
.Maybe, someone thinks that the life is unfair; Maybe, someone thinks that give up his life is the best solution. But all these excuses are NONSENSE! Even a dog doesn't want to give up his life. Yeap, it is true that our life is full of undesirable things, but this is a test for us. And we must be grateful caused no obstacles means no challenge in our life and we'll have a VERY bored life too! I went out to watch 2012 with Tian Yu and her boyfriend yesterday night. The weather was pretty cold but no one can stop us to watch 2012! Before we watched the movie, we went to Walmart for some groceries and they hunted for snacks~ haha, thanks for your snacks ya, I like the eight-shape one! XD And I bought a pair of boots! OMG~ it is so pretty and I love it so much! HAHA~

Okay, almost time after we done our shopping. But when we entered the cinema, it was EMPTY! And we looked at the other side which was so much crowded compared to ours. We thought we went to a wrong cinema but actually the people who lined up for the other side were going to watch New Moon, whatever, since I'm not Twilight fans so I have no comment~ But of course the cinema was almost full just we came in too early! XD

2012 is really a great movie. Someone said that The Day After Tomorrow is better than 2012. But for me, both of them are different just the causes to the end of the world is the same. I like the way they show the importance of family, friends, relationship and a bit of animals! XD Anyway, after you watched the movie then you'll know what am I talking about! Those who still haven't watch yet, PLEASE GRAB YOUR FRIENDS AND WATCH IT! It is quite worth to watch though! XD

I'm so happy today because I just got back my Linear Algebra's test 2's result. I was so nervous before I know the result. Julia knew that, haha~ and she said I'm a strange girl. Yeap, this is me. During test, I was not nervous at all but before the result released, I was so damn nervous! So I hope my professor doesn't tell us when he will finish marking the paper. That's sick man! @.@

Anyway, I got 38 out of 40! The average for the whole class is only 28 and I got like more than 10 marks! I was so crazy when I got back my test paper! I laughed, I smiled and I did everything silly, HAHA~ There's quite a long time I never get A+ for my test. I think the last time was during my high school or something like that, whatever, I DON'T CARE! XD I'm looking forward for my finals. Hopefully I can score next time too! FINALS~ HERE I COME! XD

I've been here two and a half months. I don't really feel homesick. Maybe because my mum now damn pro. I will see her online everyday so we will chat with each other everyday too! Kinda CRAZY but I like it! XD

Conclusion: To avoid homesick, from now on, teach your parents by using Internet for MSN or FACEBOOK or whatever things which can keep in touch for soon! XDXD

My landlords came to my room yesterday to install the lock for me. They asked me whether the place is quiet or not. I was like "Yeap, it is a VERY quiet place and I feel like I'm the one who making noise! HAHA~" Since it is so quiet, sometimes it really makes me fall asleep easily but I won't. Caused now I set my own timetable which is good for health of course. Now my lifestyle is a bit like old man who lives alone in his house and waiting for the time to pass! HAHAHA~ it is good though. Look at my result then you'll know what I mean~ muahahahahahaha...

Conclusion: Good environment and good time setting are the ways to make your result looks GOOD! XDXD As I mentioned before, Critical Thinking is a killer subject man! @.@

Last week I went to Sum Yin's home to have dinner. There is a weighing machine. I think I'm quite brave to stand on it and when I looked at the scale, I was like OMG~ I have 50 KG NOW, CONGRATS CARENE! XDXD Finally I have 50 kg which considers average for my height! HAHA~ must keep at this scale, if not, I'm soon become fatty, for sure!

Conclusion: The BEST way to gain weight is to stay at overseas and eat their food for like half of the year, then you'll get what you want, CONFIRM! XDXD

Holiday means nothing to me and I have no idea how to spend with those extra time, urgh~

Everytime I will create a new tab for my blog, just wanna listen to the songs. This is because every song means a lot to me, at the same time they describe my life, my feelings. When a person calm down, he or she can really think a lot more detail. Yeap, I think a lot during these few days.

Know what, I don't dare to think of the "thing" you said, caused from the beginning, I know it is impossible! So I can say that I treat you as my good friend all the time. I care for you too. When you're happy, I feel glad; When you're sad, I try my best to cheer you up. For me, as your friend, this is the must-do job. Actually that day I was not in a good mood but I pretended I was happy caused I don't want people worried about me. That's why, I left without goodbye. How rude is that huh? I'm really dumb. But it worth caused friendship is the thing we always want and now it is more than before. What a great ending, I LIKE! HAHA~ Come on, smile with me! It is about 2 months I've been here.

Nothing special but more independent than before, am I? Haha~ I'm not sure too. There is quite a long time I never laugh like crazy, talk like nobody cares. I was wondering did I talk more than hundred sentences in one day? Now my lifestyle are talk less, play less, cook more, eat more, sleep more and study more, time with computer even MORE! Anyway, I must get used to it caused I'm going to face these like 4 to 5 years! HA-HA-HA~

I don't know how to describe the mood today. It is like a mixture, sad and happy are the ingredients.

Happy is because finally, I'd move out. It was really tired caused after I put my baggage in my room, I straight away went to do a quick shopping and bought those necessary stuff. I need to thank to my landlord, Angie, she is just too nice to help me and fetch me from the hypermarket. If not, I'm going to carry my stuff and go home by bus, how sad!

Sad~ it reminds me something. Sorry for being annoy. Sorry for not really care what you feel everytime. Sorry for failed to be a friend of you. There were only two lines in the conversation but you know what, it hurt! Tears just fell like mad by looking at it. Yeap, maybe that's nothing for you and I was just too silly to do that. As it turns out, I'm just too afraid to lose a friend. As it turns out, it is true that most of my expressions were come from you. Is there any turning back? Or will it left with memories only? I'm just too tired to think about it again and again and again...

Sometime I feel empty, yes, ALMOST EMPTY! My mind is blank and not working at all. Really dumb. Anyway, this is not the end of the world so I must work hard. YES DUMMY, WORK HARD TO GET WHAT YOU WANT and GET WHAT YOU ALWAYS DREAM OF! And remember, there is no shortcut although the aim needs a very long time to achieve, I promise! HAHA~ a class can made me think of so many stuff but it worth I think! =)

Another WEEKEND~ Bored...

Mei Ling, Siew Ding, Sum Yin, Katrina and I went to shopping today at St. Vital AGAIN! I spent the less caused I already bought my stuff last week. I love the sunset here. Blue sky with white cloud + the mixture of purple and orange~ really great and nice!

Here’s the good news. I’m moving out end of this month. And yes, I have to thank to my seniors who helped and adopted me about 2 months in the apartment. Yesterday was a great day although I forced to wake up VERY early in the morning, about 10am~ HAHA...

I’d asked Tian Yu to shopping with me. Shopping actually is quite boring especially when you’re the one who is not buying anything. She is just too nice, company with me and some more helped me to carry my stuff. Really wanna thank her, thanks Tian Yu! Shopping took us 4 hours but it worth! My seniors said at least we need CAD 500+ to buy everything we needed during winter. I only spend about CAD 430+ and I bought everything I want! Cool huh? Great deal actually! XD

After I finished shopping, I just went back to apartment and I was waiting for the next event in university - Chinese opera, Jasmine Flower & Butterfly Lovers. So about one and a half hour, we all just left the hall and went for dinner! XD

The last event I had on the Saturday’s night was, CLUBBING! HAHA~ this is my first time seriously, quite excited! I was really having fun the whole night although I was so tired and some more online after I was in the apartment! HAHA~ crazy huh? I know, it is all Adrian Yeong’s fault! muahahahahaha~

Today is Friday and I love FRIDAY!!! XDXD

I went to class with a very good mood although critical thinking is kinda bored. After class, I went to meet my advisor and asked her whether my official transcript has been evaluated or not. She gave me with a very satisfied answer and finally, my credit hours and most of the subjects are transferable, means I do not need to take some of the subjects they offered. Sounds good huh? XD

After meeting my advisor, Julia asked me to meet her friends! I was really excited. Everyone is from different country different culture. For example, Julia is Canadian, Suzie is Italian, Rosena is Hong Kong-ian, Dominide is Pole, Marife is Filipino, etc. They’re really nice people and I enjoyed chatting with them~ Thanks Julia and nice to meet you guys too! =)

I've been here about one month time. It considers a short period but at the same time, things changed a lot and I learned a lot.

I still remembered the first day. I was exhausted but excited because I finally come to a different place and gonna start my new life here. Yeap, it was great when we meet something really new in our life. At the same time, problems came. First is the housing thingy. Till now I still haven’t find a place for me to settle down. My baggage and stuff are still inside the storage at my senior’s house. When can it move to my own cupboard? I really don’t know how to answer myself. Sigh~ hopefully, hopefully I can settle down as soon as possible.

Where the people are is where the problem comes from. I agree. Maybe for someone is just a small problem but for me, since I born that day I never really stay with other people or share things together. Anyways, I’ve learned something between each other and the only way is try not to involve and treat people well, like how I treat my Tiger. This way works and now I’m happy, really happy! =)

Something you won’t notice when you’re in the situation. After I left my sweet home, I started to miss my Tiger! I regret because I was not really taking care of him. Hopefully he won’t fight with other doggies and won’t get hurt again. And of course I miss you guys too~ especially those who always busy but still chatting with me! Thank you and you’re always the one who made my day too! =)

Yesterday was a tiring day.

There was an event called Movie Night which organized by UMMSA aka University of Manitoba Malaysian & Singaporean Students Association at Arthur V. Mauro Student Residence. We watched Twilight and this was my third time to watch this movie~ kinda boring seriously! Anyway, I went there just for fun and the snack! I almost finished 1 whole pack of popcorn~ salty popcorn, quite weird but nice! Because of some technical problems, we only can watch with the laptop. I think everyone enjoyed while watching it~ haha...

XP When I backed to home, Eadyly asked me to eat tong yuan. I was touched by it because yesterday was Mooncake festival and I ate tong yuan as mooncake~ what a great combination but really nonsense! XD Anyway, I love my life! Although there is still another problem I haven’t solve, but come on, worry will not help anything! Why not we enjoy the process of life? Sometimes, things solved really fast. I solved the most stupid problem by today. Someone wanna quit the apartment which is not suites her~ I feel GLAD seriously! After so many arguments and so many different views, finally, we can have our own room, own space! Congratulation Carene, you've your own ROOM! XDXD

Sometimes, God loves me. Today, I went out with Mei Ling to sign the nonsense contract and submit the form to the landlord. For some reasons, we have to travel by bus N TIMES! At the same time, we travelled the WRONG bus! Luckily people here are quite friendly. They pointed out where the direction is and asked us by using which number of the bus that can back to the university. Everytime we almost missed the bus, the bus driver will just stop and let us in! Conclusion, I LOVE THE PEOPLE HERE and God really loves me! XDXD

Sometimes, I miss the people I met before. The memories, the laughers, the moments that we all shared together last time. It just like the songs in my iTunes, they have their own meaning and I love how the melody and rhythm flows when I'm listening. So when we'll meet again? Next year? Next 2 years? or perhaps the next time we meet on the same road? I don't know. But the truth is, I miss you, you and YOU! =)

I started my classes yesterday. They’re Critical Thinking and Techniques of Classical & Linear Algebra. Sounds great huh? You WISH! HAHA~ Actually everything is going fine but like what I said, perfect thing sure has its own imperfect side! And now, this concept applied here. I realized that communication between each other is really important. Problems come when you don’t know how to share your own view or you’re too straight forward! I met these kinds of problems in a row~ they came at the same time and made me felt ANGRY, or perhaps emo! Although most of the people will say, forgiveness can solve everything! But sometimes really hard to forgive the one you dislike much. So, I’m still learning, learn how to forgive people...

The first 5 days - Brisbane

Brisbane is my most favourite city compared to other cities. WHY?? Because the weather is just nice and the city is still developing, great huh?? XDXD The places I went were, city centre, ERKA day, Gold Coast, Movie World, etc~ and I’m quite lazy to tell the 5 days’ story here so I just do a conclusion~

BRISBANE IS REALLY A GREAT PLACE!!! HAHA~

Melbourne is just like Europe, especially those buildings~ and I will always remember this city because I met my friends, Michelle and Daniel HERE!!! HAHA~ when you meet someone you know in other country, you’ll know what I mean!!! XDXD

Yesterday was a GREAT day!!!

Sick is to suffer and I'm suffering now!!! @.@

Let's see what I did these few days. After my physics' finals, I got an e-mail which is to inform me to collect the medical form and to do medical check-up! I was so glad to get this e-mail caused I had wait for so so so long time~

Therefore, the next day I went to the High Commission of Canada to collect medical form. Luckily the process was fast, I just waited for like half an hour then I went to the clinic to do my medical check-up. This was the best part I think because I molested by the doctor! @.@ Actually is to check whether my breast got any problem or not and luckily is a she so never mind! HAHAHA~ then I did my x-ray, everything is DONE!

Sometimes, I am straightforward. Because of this stupid attitude, I made people sad and emo! SIGH~ please forgive me if I really hurt you bad! @.@ and of course I get my retribution damn fast!!! I get sick until now~ Fever, cough and headache all come in once! The worst thing is I'm still having exam!!! Hope I can get well as soon as possible~

Tomorrow, not only I will have my moral paper, I will get my TOEFL result too!!! I seriously hope everything will be fine!!! Good luck to me~

AH-HA~ it's time to update my blog!!! HAHA~

Today I just finished the 2 hardest subjects - calculus 3 and physics 2. I think I did okay in these 2 subjects and actually I just need a PASS because I'm leaving to Canada soon! XD So now I left moral and religion then I AM DONE for my finals~ means I still need to suffer until next Monday~ DAMN IT!!! @.@

Yesterday was INTIBALL 2009 – Mystical Illusion at PJ Hilton Hotel. Because I decided last minute, so I had no time for shopping and of course I had a plan~ XD

1) Dress – Borrowed from my second sister
2) High-hill shoe – Took from my eldest sister
3) Make up – Mum helped me
4) Hairstyle – Done by myself and my mum
5) Transport – My dad was my driver

HAHA~ this is the used of FAMILY!!! And I think I spend only RM90 for the ticket and that’s all~ oh ya, my contact lens were FOC!!! The boss was damn nice~ maybe I’m the his regular customer so I had special promotion~ XDXD

Anyway, I was happy because at last I went for my last prom night at INTI. I really hope I can spend more time with my friends last night but I promised my parents must go back earlier~ So people, really sorry caused I was rushing without saying “Good-bye”!!! But I’m sure that you guys were also quite enjoyed for the entire event!!! =)

Today, I went to watch “Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince” with my friends in Sunway Pyramid. Before we went to cinema, we had our lunch in AC.

The ending was a bit suck but after I knew the ending supposed to be like that, so I had no comment for it. The overall was not that bad and there was lots of scene which are really funny compared to previous Harry Potter, such as Harry suddenly became HYPER, Ron’s girlfriend, etc~ HAHA, at least everyone was laughing with me! XD Although Ginny now is prettier but I don’t like her that much, still~ I was touched by the dead of Dumbledore~ So my conclusion is, I’m going to wait for the last episode which is “Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallow”!!! HAHA~

After that, we went to “My Honeymoon”~ yes, AGAIN!!! This is Yann Huoy’s suggestion because she was attracted by my pictures below~ HAHA, then we went back to INTI. THE END.

Life Goes On

Actually I don’t know what to post on my lovely blog but still I come and write something here to prove my blog is not DEAD!!! XDXD

Currently, I addicted to Facebook which was forced by my sister~ But I found it not bad cause I can keep in touch with my friends, especially those primary schoolmates! Okay~ all this is just NONSENSE!!! XDXD the actual reason is I also don’t know, just feel like wanna spend my time in Facebook~ damn no life right?? HAHA~

Let’s talk about today. Today, I went to Pyramid with Yen Loo. She wanted to buy a necklace but ended up nothing on her hands! So, we decided to have our teatime in somewhere called “My Honeymoon”, which is only dessert be serving for you! Only the fussy waitress annoyed me, but the overall was good~ So I think I will give a 7/10 for them!!! =)

And there was an event – TRAZZLE II was held by SMS last Friday. I can say that I was mad when I saw someone doesn’t even know how to be a stationmaster!!! (P/S: you know who you are, the 5th floor fellow~) Whatever, they did a great job and I enjoyed the whole process such as running all over the place, eating garlic and wasabi, guessing the mysterious man and even the prize giving! Thank you so much~ you guys had made my day!!! =)

Tomorrow I have a quiz for Calculus 3, so good luck for me and my classmates!!! HAHA~

After the presentation for Religion at college, I went to Low Yat Plaza with my sister yesterday. We had our own mission, which were to HUNT for a laptop and a camera!

Camera is for her so I was only concentrated on what I want - a brand new LAPTOP! HAHA~ actually I wanted to buy TOSHIBA because it sounds good but ended up with HP! XP After we were walking around and around, something was attracting me - an elegant “beauty” with style was appeared in front of me!XD Therefore, we talked to the salesman. This beauty named HP Pavilion dv4-1412tx and it is quite expensive, the actual price was RM3999, really damn it~ But the salesman was quite good too, he gave us a discount price, which is RM3870! Okay~ better than previous price and some more we grab-ed two mouses! HAHA~ so he helped us to check and install some necessary software. Then, my sister continued her mission~

Besides, this beauty costs all my saving~ So I only left less than RM500 in my bank account but I think it is worth for me! At least I get what I always want now and I’m SO SO SO HAPPY!!!XD
